At last! Today we launched our children's book on the life of Sir Thomas Urquhart of Cromarty - 'Squaring the Circle' by Jane Verburg and Tim Stead. The launch took place at Cromarty Primary School, when P6/7 pupils were presented with their copies of the book, and author Jane Verburg and History Society Convener Sandy Thomson were present to be photographed by the local press along with some of the children.

Also today we are publishing on our website the two runners-up in our search for an author. These are Greg Fullerton and Graham White, and their stories can be downloaded on our LIBRARY page.

Thanks to all the writers and illustrators who sent us their contributions. It was a great pleasure to read and enjoy the work of so many talented people. Thanks to our judging panel and thanks too to our funders, Awards for All and the Highland LEADER Programme.
