The Cromarty medieval excavation is running again this year from 12 July to 3 August!
 
After a very successful 'pilot' season last year, we are excavating for 3 weeks on the Reeds Park site where we will get a chance to dig deep into the Medieval layers. The committee is still finalising events for this year, but our plans include tailored events for young people, more hands-on training as well as specialist training events and an end-of-dig BBQ. There are also ways to volunteer that don't include digging or labour-intensive tasks. A promising season awaits us and the weather in Cromarty is shaping up beautifully for the summer!
