All Shall Have Prizes!
A look at some of Cromarty’s cups, awards and more
Followed by festive mulled wine and mince pies
Thursday December 15th. 2016, 7.30pm, West Church Hall, Cromarty
Cromarty History Society’s December meeting will follow the tradition of a more informal event, where cups, awards and prizes that may have been gathering dust in Cromarty’s attics and cupboards or sitting proudly on mantlepieces over the years will be shared and the stories connected to them. Research has shown that there are Cromarty cups for swimming, bowling, curling, football and sailing and other, more ‘niche’ endeavours! There will also be a chance to see very special cups held in the Cromarty Courthouse Collection with intriguing histories to be revealed. Enjoy a glass of mulled wine and festive cheer and take a look back at the proud moments in Cromarty’s past!
Entry to this Christmas evening is free of charge, but donations are welcome.
